Water Samples

WATER SAMPLE PACKAGING:

It is indispensable that all water samples be packed in PLASTIC bottles, never in glass bottles. Use a secure closure or cap to avoid spillage. Examples of secure plastic bottles include:

1. "Baby Bottles" with the nipple reversed.


2. Plastic water bottles for mineral water, personal drinking water or similar.

The minimum sample volume for any water sample is 500 cc.

Bottles of water samples should be placed inside a paper bag upon which the Name and number of the sample are written with an indelible marker. Include the Sample Submittal Form, along with a Phytosanitary Certificate specifying the country of origin and that the samples are destined for chemical analysis only.
