WATER SAMPLE PACKAGING:
It
is indispensable that all water samples be packed in PLASTIC bottles,
never in glass bottles. Use a secure closure or
cap to avoid spillage.
Examples of
secure plastic bottles include:
- "Baby Bottles" with the nipple reversed.
- Plastic water bottles for mineral water, personal drinking water or similar.
The minimum sample volume
for any water sample is 500 cc.
Bottles of water samples should be placed inside a paper bag upon which the Name and number of the sample are written with an indelible marker. Include the Sample Submittal Form, along with a Phytosanitary Certificate specifying the country of origin and that the samples are destined for chemical analysis only.
